When XChat starts up again, it should automatically connect you to the Majistic IRC network and join #rockhill. At this point you should register your nickname with the password you've specified earlier. Type the following command.
/msg nickserv register <your password> <your email address>
From now on, whenever you connect to the Majistic IRC Network, it will automatically log you in using your password. If you're disconnected and reconnect to find that your nickname still exists even though you've been disconnected you can type the following commands to regain the handle on your nickname.
/msg nickserv ghost <your nickname> <your password> /nick <your nickname> /msg nickserv identify <your password>
